Government assistance:
  • The Québec provincial government has a program that provides a 10 year tax holiday for data center companies that invest at least $200MM;
  • The province also provides data centers with very advantageous utility rates from Hydro-Québec, the province’s energy utility.
  • Pr@m Rebate - The City of Montréal offers a program that affords tax reductions over a period of 5 years to a maximum of $1MM per annum based on the increase in assessment of the buildings to accommodate Tenant’s occupancy. We have registered each building for Pr@m to provide for maximum subsidy opportunity.
