Many business centers claim to be unique, Quartier Évolution is a reality!
The site has served as the Merck Canada headquarters until Fall 2013. Since the construction of the initial Kirkland facilities in 1969, the site has grown to include some 14 buildings and 1.2 million square feet of space and highway frontage of some 1,500 linear feet. The buildings were upgraded and renovated through the years and new buildings were added on an as-needed basis. Today, there are many opportunities for corporate identity along the Trans-Canada which is exposed to close to 125,000 drivers on a daily basis.

To adhere to the specific needs of Merck, a global pharmaceutical leader, each building includes numerous meeting and break-out areas in addition to conference facilities and an auditorium. The campus also offers a generous parking allocation of 3.5/1,000 square feet. Quartier Évolution distinguishes itself by:
  • State of the art Information Technology
  • Immediate potential for 100% fresh air HAC system
  • Two 25 kV line feeders with 100% redundancy - with one line being a Priority Zone 1
  • Four diesel generators with total capacity of 4,800 kW with the possibility of expansion
  • A completely secured environment offering 24h surveillance with cameras and access controlled by electronic cards
